A Humble Beginning (2015)

For us, the journey that became Mild Paws Academy didn't start with a business plan, it started with love. It began in June 2015 with our first beloved Labrador Retriever. We were instantly passionate about the breed and all their wonderful qualities, their boundless enthusiasm, their unwavering loyalty, and the sheer joy they brought into our home. We began to experience firsthand the incredible brightening effect that a well-tempered, well-loved dog has on human life.

As our family grew, so did our desire to share this profound connection. We saw a need not just for puppies, but for exceptional companions who were sound in health, temperament, and spirit. This sparked our mission to elevate the standard of dog ownership by dedicating ourselves to responsible, ethical breeding. We wanted every family to experience the gentle, reliable companionship that defines a truly great dog.

In 2018 we expanded our kennel when we moved into our new house an also introduce new breeds to the family, Golden Retriever, German Sherpherd, French Bulldog, Poodle, Dachshund. When we began keeping puppies from our own Labs, it deepened our love for them even more, & solidified in our minds that this is what we are passionate about & this is what we wanted to do with our lives.

Dogs have an incredible ability to brighten even the dullest of days. From wagging tails to gentle nudges, their unique ways of communicating speak volumes, fostering a bond that transcends words and enriches the human experience in countless ways.

There are many reasons we think life’s Abundance and NuVet stand apart but we do understand that there are other high quality foods on the market. We’ve seen even the healthiest of puppy’s live an unhealthy life because of the food they were given so making sure your puppy is getting proper nutrition is very important!
